Sportmenu
Het sportmenu is samengesteld voor alle deelnemende brede scholen van Zwijndrecht. Het sportmenu bestaat uit het Basismenu en het Opmaatmenu. De lessen van het Basismenu vinden voornamelijk tijdens schooltijd plaats en de activiteiten van het Opmaatmenu na schooltijd.

Basismenu
Tijdens het Basismenu maken kinderen kennis met sporten die zij ook op de sportvereniging kunnen beoefenen. Dit programma noemen we ook wel het sportoriëntatie programma. Per wijk vindt er een andere sport plaats. Iedere periode dat er een nieuwe sport start wordt op school een voorbeeld les verzorgd door een Toppie sportcoach. De periode dat de sport centraal staat blijft het sportmateriaal op school of in de gymzaal liggen en kunnen de leerlingen samen met hun eigen juf of meester verder oefenen. Hiervoor heeft de school van de sportcoaches een map met uitgewerkte lessen gekregen. Deze zijn ook online beschikbaar. Waar het mogelijk is krijgen de kinderen aan het einde of tijdens een periode een clinic aangeboden in samenwerking met een plaatselijke sportvereniging.

Opmaat menu
Het opmaat menu bestaat uit gevarieerd aanbod van activiteiten waarbij we per leeftijdscategorie werken met een eigen thema. Deze activiteiten worden afgestemd met de brede school in de wijk en vinden voornamelijk na schooltijd plaats. Dit kan zijn op de school, in het speellokaal, het schoolplein, de gymzaal of een (sport)veldje in de buurt. Om deze activiteiten bekend te maken bij de kinderen geven we in samenwerking met de vakleerkracht gymnastiek een aantal introductie lessen per schooljaar.

Kaboutersportprogramma

Voor groep 1 en 2 hebben we het Kaboutersportprogramma. We werken met de seizoenen: Herfst, Winter, Lente en Zomer. Voor ieder seizoen hebben we 3 uitgewerkte lessen. De eerste les wordt verzorgd door de Toppie sportcoach. De tweede en derde les kan de de groepsleerkracht zelf geven. Bij downloads kunnen ingelogde leerkrachten de leskaarten hiervoor downloaden.

Voor groep 3 en 4 hebben we het Trixxsprogramma. Trixxs focust zich op de breed motorische ontwikkeling van kinderen. Dankzij Trixxs komen kinderen spelenderwijs in aanraking met de basis beweegvormen van veel verschillende sporten. Op die manier ontdekken ze wat ze leuk vinden en wat ze kunnen. Zodat ze zich ontwikkelen, zelfvertrouwen krijgen en uiteindelijk kiezen voor een sport die bij ze past. Ze bewegen met veel plezier en kunnen fysiek en mentaal tegen een stootje. Ze spelen, ontdekken en sporten!

Voor groep 5 en 6 hebben we het weerbaarheidsprogramma. Tijdens weerbaarheidstrainingen leer je op een goede manier voor je zelf opkomen, je grenzen aan te geven en respectvol met de ander en de omgeving om te gaan. Hiervoor hebben we verschillende programma’s waarin scholen keuze’s kunnen maken passend bij de leerlingen en de visie van de school.

Voor groep 7 en 8 hebben we het JOGG-programma. Tijdens het JOGG-programma speelt de participatie (verantwoordelijkheid) van de leerlingen uit groep 7 en 8  een erg belangrijke rol. Zo kunnen de leerlingen niet alleen meedenken en beslissen over de invulling van hun eigen activiteiten maar denken ze ook mee over een gezonde omgeving op school en over bijvoorbeeld activiteiten voor de jongere groepen! We werken met drie projecten waarvan er ieder jaar 1 centraal staat per school. Dit zijn:
